Channel Sales Manager( Sydney, Melbourne)
Grow Australia’s energy storage market by building strong distributor and installer partnerships, winning channel sales, and shaping the future of smart energy solutions.
Qualifications
Industry Experience: Local Australian channel sales experience is required. Candidates with experience in solar energy storage, HVAC, electrical engineering, EV charging, or smart home industries are welcome. Relevant experience in residential and small C&I energy storage sales is preferred.
Working Years: 3–10 years of experience in local channel development and business-to-business sales.
Education: A degree in electrical power, new energy, or a related field is preferred. No specific major is required; a basic understanding of technical concepts is acceptable.
Channel Capability: Familiarity with local wholesalers, installers, integrators, and distribution networks, with the ability to independently promote business opportunities among installer customers.
Travel Requirement: Availability for domestic travel within Australia and international business trips.
2. Key Responsibilities
Achieve regional sales targets and develop and manage distributors, installers, and key accounts.
Maintain channel partnerships, strengthen brand presence, and expand local market share.
Participate in exhibitions, technical training sessions, roadshows, and other marketing activities.
Collaborate with the after-sales team to address customer enquiries, product issues, and complaints.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity, and provide feedback to support product optimisation.
Collaborate with internal teams, follow headquarters’ direction, and implement channel sales policies.
